  1. KC Lowball is one of the toughest forms of poker out there. Your ability to read players is what this game is all about. Stud games rely more on remember what cards are dead, odds, etc rather than reading your opponents. Also heads up no limit holdem is very skillful, especially if the stacks start out deep.

  2. Pot Limit Omaha Hi / Lo.

  3. I’m gonna be stereotypical and say HORSE, or HOSE. It’s a true test of one’s ability as a well-rounded poker player. Plus, switching between all the different styles really takes a mental toll on a player after a few hours. That’s why I won’t dare to try this game (plus my Omaha and Razz sucks).

  4. Stud high is one of the most skillful form of poker, C.Reese think so, and I have to agree with him. Now I have to admit that 2-7 lowball is a tough game (especially if you play it NL). Holdem is the simplest form of poker (that’s why it’s so popular right now) I love Razz, and it can be tricky, Omaha hi/lo is great and require a lot of focus because of the combination of hands. Stud hi/lo is a great game too, I enjoy that game.

To make it simple, I have to say I love playing the mixed game (like h.o.r.s.e) and when I play it, I can easily realize that a lot of players are behind when we play Razz, and Stud hi/lo. Now the funny thing is you can often see the good stud players, and when we switch to Omaha hi/lo, they’re behind.

Because of the popularity (growing) of poker, and of course with online poker, a lot of players getting ” skilled” and get experience faster. I can tell you this, we need to be able to play all the game at a high skilled level, because the competition is getting bigger.

    Take care
